Coprolite is fossilized dinosaur dung or
droppings. Coprolites are known as a "trace fossil".
This coprolite measures about 3 3/4" long.
These coprolite plaques are great for
education or display. Each piece of coprolite is mounted
on a 5 1/4" x 5 3/4" wood plaque and includes an informational
card. The cards are held on with double-stick tape, so
they can be removed if you prefer. The stones and plaques have been
finished with lacquer.
Some of these pieces have beautiful swirl
patterns.
The coprolites have been rounded by millions of years of wear
from the waters of the Colorado River.
