Chainmail, often spelled as chain mail, chainmaille,
or chain maille, is an ancient art that is now being used
in more modern ways.
Originally, chainmaille weaves were used
in armor in both Europe and Asia. The earliest known
chain mail dates back to the 4th century BC, and was found
in Romania. Early chainmail was often composed of
wrought iron rings, sometimes welded together or held with
rivets.
Contemporary chainmaille still has
practical uses, but much chainmail now is made into jewelry,
often using other metals such as aluminum, copper, or
silver.
Much of our chainmail is made with
lightweight anodized aluminum. With aluminum, we can
offer you the beauty of various metallic colors combined
with a very light weight material.
Our chainmail jewelry is strong and lightweight. Some
of these items are great for school colors or organization
colors. We can create these in a wide variety of designs and
colors for you. We also offer volume discounts. Drop
