Oregon sunstone is unique. There are other sunstones that are mined in other parts of the world, but only Oregon sunstone has the shiller that gives sunstone an inner "glow" of colors. The shiller is actually minute copper inclusions.

Oregon sunstone is the finest sunstone in the world. It is most often faceted, but is frequently cabbed or carved as well.


		1901-This is beautiful old-stock Oregon sunstone rough. There is shiller in much of this material, and a high percentage of it will facet nicely. Some reds. The sizes range from about 10 mm to around 25 mm. $11.00 per ounce. Shipping is $3.00 by First Class Mail.
